Painter and Sculptor
Influenced by works and techniques of varied artists, Iris Weintraubís personal artistic style evolved over the years, encompassing features of abstract, realism and pop art genres. Her works of art, either on canvas, stone or bronze constitute a fusion of methods and forms. The result is a unique expression in which the subject, though on occasion front and center, remains concealed, almost elusive, the intended effect for individual self interpretation and introspection.
In the course of her professional years, Iris was previously engaged in management of a technical documentation division in Israelís Hi-tech industry, simultaneously studying and working in painting and sculpting with a highly diverse group of eclectic artists.
In 1993 Iris established a company mandated to fill the significant void of preserving engineering knowledge of corporate entities. Her expertise in art, graphics and engineering provided her with the ability to create a unique visual language methodology which simplifies complex engineering processes transforming them to a concise and comprehensible format.
Nowadays, Iris Weintraub is dedicating all her time to art.
